All-Night Vigil
Patrick spent last night camped out on the Elipse in front of the White House in hopes of procuring tickets to the White House Easter Egg Roll Monday. He and another dad arrived on the Elipse at 9:00 pm and spent the night in a tent: playing Trivial Pursuit, listening to music, snacking, and catching a few winks here and there. And in the morning, Patrick did get the coveted tickets! The earliest people to arrive in line were there at 8:30 am Friday morning, the latest who received tickets arrived at 11:30 pm Friday night… tickets were distributed at 7:30 am Saturday! Unbelievable what families will do to get to the White House! (and that is in no way a political statement, although I guess it could be!)
