Out of the Mouths of Babes: Speaking a Foreign Language

The boys have been watching season one of the old Flipper TV show on Netflix. Both boys are enjoying the show, but our animal lover, Connor, has been transfixed. Tonight, he informed us that he can understand Flipper’s “talking.”
“Oh, really,” Patrick said with a chuckle, “What’s he saying right now?”
“I only understand some of it,” Connor countered… and then after a pause added, “but I think he’s saying, ‘Hello, hello.'”
Considering Flipper was greeting Sandy and Bud, I think he might have been right. This kid may just have a future in interpreting….
