MY THOUGHTS:
How do you know God is a baseball fan?
Because He starts off the Bible, “In the big inning!”
How do you know Adam and Eve played board games?
Because they had a paradise!
What ship can carry you to God?
Worship!
In the Big Inning: Bible Riddles from the Back Pew is page after page of good, clean, silly fun. My boys, ages 6 & 9, read the book, memorized the jokes, and then tried them out on anyone who would listen: their Dad, their Grandmother, their friends, and each other And if the riddles weren’t funny enough, the illustrations are hilarious. They’re sure to provide your family with as many laughs as the riddles themselves!
There were a couple of riddles my boys didn’t understand because they were not familiar with the Bible stories. This turned out to be wonderful motivation for them to find the stories and read them. Silly riddles and encouragement for Bible study, what more could one ask?
I received this book from Zondervan in exchange for my honest review. The thoughts printed in this review are entirely my own.
