Thirty-five years ago today, a little brother entered my world! A little brother who flushed my Barbie Doll clothes down the toilet, fried my goldfish under an electric blanket, threw JELL-O on my head at a family dinner, and repeatedly woke me with phone calls at 2am “just to talk.” A little brother who could light up a room with his smile, would do anything for a friend, and adored my boys like no other!
Just over a year ago, I lost that little brother. With that, I lost a piece of my heart, a host of hopes and dreams, and the only person who could truly understand just how wonderfully annoying my parents can be.
I miss you, James! Happy Birthday!
