Making Memories Monday: Once in a Lifetime

I’m running a bit behind with my Making Memories Monday post this week.  That’s because the boys and I spent all day yesterday making once-in-a-lifetime memories as we participated in the Boy Scouts of America Centennial Parade in Washington, D.C.  It was a wonderful experience, and my dear husband took over 400 photos, so I will definitely have something to share about the day, but quite honestly, almost 6 hours in the 100 degree heat followed by a major storm  (that wreaked havoc with my sinuses) was enough to do me in.  I was too tired last night to do anything but shower and fall into bed, and tonight is not much different… so my post is going to have to wait until tomorrow evening.  In the meantime, please feel free to link up your Making Memory Monday post for this week.

Do you have a favorite Scouting memory?  Did you ever participate in a parade with Scouts or another organization?  Link up and share this or one of your other special memories for Making Memories Monday this week.

Remember:
  1. Please leave a link back to Adventures in McQuill-land on your Making Memories Monday post!
  2. Add your name to the MckLinky at Adventures in McQuill-land and enter a 2-3 word subject to give blog hoppers an idea of what we’ll find at your post.  Like this:  Jennifer @ McQuill-land (playing dress-up).
  3. AND… Please be sure to link to your individual Making Memories Monday post, not your home page.  This makes it easier for blog hoppers to find your shared memory.
