Kids Bowl FREE! ALL Summer

 

 

  

One hot, humid August afternoon last summer, we joined friends for a last minute get-together at our local AMF Lane.  While there I learned about the AMF Kids Bowl Free program, an incredible program that allows all registered children ages 15 and under to bowl 2 FREE! games each day throughout the summer.  I did have to pay for the kids to rent a pair of those ever-so-fashionable bowling shoes, but that was it!   The bowling was FREE!  No catches, no strings… it was truly a wonderful opportunity!  Especially since the boys discovered they LOVED bowling!  I can’t even begin to count how many days we bowled our two FREE games from that day until the end of the summer program!  It was a wonderful way to spend an hour or so on a hot Virginia morning before the pool opened for the day.  

My only regret:  that I didn’t learn about the program sooner!  I won’t make that mistake again this year!  Today I received an e-mail from AMF Lanes announcing that registration for the 2010 Summer Kids Bowl Free program has begun.  I’ve already registered Ryan and Connor for game after game of FREE summer fun!
