A Wee Bit O’ Fun – Lego Style!
On one of our much-anticipated trips to the LEGO Store at the end of last year, we learned of a new monthly event to be held at the stores nation-wide throughout 2009: FREE LEGO Mini-Model Builds. On the first Tuesday of each month between the hours of 5-7pm, children ages 6-12 are invited to the store to build a mini-model. In January, the boys built little penguins. In February, they created LEGO hearts; and tonight, they waited in line for almost an hour for a chance to build this little Leprechaun! It seems word is getting out about this free fun, so for the April event, we will arrive well before the set 5pm start time to be sure we have the chance to build Peter Cottontail.
