The Littlest Clown
First, Connor was adamant that we were at the zoo, not at the circus, because he saw zebras, and zebras live in zoos, not in the circus! Nothing would convince him otherwise. In fact, he was so adamant, that we began to think he must know something we don’t about the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Zoo.
Well, in this zoo, they have a wonderful clown named Bello. Connor informed me, while watching Bello the Clown try to lift a “heavy” rock to catapult an unsuspecting audience member into the air, that, “I might have go help him; I very strong.” He then yelled, at the top of his lungs, to Bello, “Hey, you want me to come down there and help you?” Bello, however, found another little boy sitting a little closer in the audience to help him. I guess there were a couple of strong little guys in attendance this evening.
Connor was not daunted; he still liked Bello and wanted to help him out however he could. Later, when Bello and another acrobat were walking on the outside of a giant rotating cage, playing up the danger of their stunt, Connor was totally taken in, and not just a little concerned for their safety. Again, at the top of his lungs, which is indeed quite loud, he shouted, “Hey, watch what you doing, you eee-jut!” To me, he added, “That very dangerous; I not ever going to do that!” After apologizing to the man in front for Connor’s first comment, I breathed a sigh of relief, I guess Connor won’t be joining the circus after all, at least not this year! So, stay tuned for further antics from the littlest clown, there are sure to be plenty as life with Connor is never dull!
